Hi guys.

I'm making a level 9 character and this is how it's looking so far.

Half-Orc
str 16->18
dex 15
con 14
int 14->12
wis 14
cha 12->10

1 | Fighter | Point Blank Shot, Weapon Focus (Greatsword)
2 | Fighter | Precise Shot
3 | Fighter | Far Shot
4 | Fighter | Weapon Specialization (Greatsword), str->19
5 | Fighter | climb 8, jump 8, sleight of hand 4 (2+int, lvl1 4(3) + lvl2-4 4(3))
6 | Master Thrower | Quick Draw, Deadeye Shot, Brutal Throw
7 | Master Thrower | Evasion
8 | Master Thrower | Two with One Blow, str->20
9 | Master Thrower | Snatch Arrows, Ranged Disarm, climb 12, jump 12, spot 12 (4+int, lvl6-9 4(5))

future: 10 | Master Thrower | Critical Throw, Weak Spot

Now I am unsure of several details, but which I will explain as I briefly describe my characters combat style.

I will have a breastplate +1, 2 greatswords +1 of throwing and returning, and a normal greatsword.

My character will throw 1 greatsword, quick draw another, throw it, and can then quick draw the last and make any remaining attacks in melee, concluding with sheathing the remaining greatsword if he drew it. The next round the 2 greatswords will be caught 1 at a time and the first sheathed, is this correct?

I should do x3 damage on a critical throw from deadeye shot, but I wonder if this will also apply to melee attacks. The name is deadeye shot so it would seem not, but the feat gives handaxe as an example and says it affects a throwing weapon, not just a thrown attack so I am unsure. I have the same confusion with lvl 10 Critical Throw, if I gain Improved Critical with the throwing weapon (Greatsword) do my melee attacks also have 2 times the threat range?

Lastly, ranged disarm would function the same as if I were disarming in melee with a Greatsword, but without the attack of oppertunity correct? Thank you for any replies.

You must be a fighter to have that many attacks in a full round action...but yes, that would be correct. Note though, that catching a weapon provokes an attack of opportunity (I think...) so I would just stay out of the melee fray if you can help it.

I should do x3 damage on a critical throw from deadeye shot, but I wonder if this will also apply to melee attacks. You'll have to ask your DM about that. Technically, it's a loop hole. But if I were your DM, I would slap you for trying it. =P

Lastly, ranged disarm would function the same as if I were disarming in melee with a Greatsword, but without the attack of oppertunity correct? Thank you for any replies.
That is also correct. That, and the fact that you're hurling a massive friggin' sword at someone. The range helps

On a side note, I suggest you get the "Throw Anything" feat. With out it, you'll take penalties when throwing melee weapons like the Greatsword. I can't recall the penalties...but with this feat, a big lug such as you can throw tables, chairs, anything. You're never truely unarmed with this one.

Take it from me, I'm playing a a tenth level Master Thrower right now.

Don't be cheeky, if it says throwing weapon you KNOW it means it only applies when when you throw it.
If you want to be throwing greatswords (a silly concept, but workable rules-wise) might I recommend the "throw anything" feat.
Also, consider the mercurial greatsword from sword and fist. At x4 criticals it's a weapon to be feared, especially with whatever critical enhancements you pick up from master thrower. (can't bring them to mind)

You only have a BAB of +9/+4 right now. You don't need the third greatsword until level 11.

Edit: Also, catching a Returning weapon is a free action. The five example free actions in the SRD all do NOT provoke AoO, so I think we can assume that catching a Returning weapon also does not (please let me know if I'm wrong).
