I am starting from the ground up with a dwarf fighter/warmage. Our DM wants to have each of us reach 20th+ for a huge battle royale. I am asking for help in looking for feats that will max my characters dual abilities to be all he can be for fighter and warmage.

I do understand that he will be maxed out at say 10 level each, but his char. is 15 so that is the cap as to how many spell levels he can go. With that said I am flexable as to any level combo, but it is the headache amount of feats is where I get lost.

I want to get the best combo of feats to make my dwarf a MR. BAD A$$ in a fight and then when I reach 20+ I will one bad dude.

Thanks for any help.

You need to check out the Character Optimization board.

But, not knowing your abilities and other things, here are my tips:

1. Get Practiced spellcaster if you take 4 levels of fighter
2. Take the feat Battle Caster
3. Look into the Eldritch Knight or Spellsword PrC

Be

Here's a novel idea, why not simply develop the character in such a way as to create one that is fun and interesting? What is wrong with taking a feat that sounds cool and froody but doesn't just take you one step closer to being a god-killing machine? What is wrong with creating a three-dimensional character and not a two-dimensional set of numbers on a sheet of paper?

I guess you missed the "battle royale" part. Besides, powerful and roleplaying-fun aren't mutually exclusive anyway.

That said, fighter + warmage isn't a very good idea, no synergy. If you're going for fighting + spellcasting you want your spellcasting to be able to enhance your fighting ability, not make it irrelevent.

Well from the look of things all the OP wants is a kick arse character that can perform what he wants and how he wants. Part of roleplaying is having the capability to perform what you imagine yourself being able to do... and if the capabilities are there in writing than it is less of a stretch to utilize them in the imagination.
