Lunar_Shadow 08-27-06, 12:19 PM	Lunar Shadow was only a young child when his village was attacked by a horde gnolls. Luckily for him, Lunar’s parents ran off into the forest in a last ditch effort to save there son. Unfortunately there effort was in vain, for they were killed by a couple of gnolls that stumbled upon them. The gnolls were just about to kill Lunar when a Gold dragon dropped out of the sky and killed the two gnolls. The dragon saw Lunar and picked up gently and flew him back to her cave in the mountains. There he was raised alongside a halfling named Solar Shadow. For the next several years he and his foster family lived happily. He finally left the cave he grew up in and went to find the elves so he could learn about his heritage. After years of searching he found them and learned the magic of the Elvin wizards. He trained for two years and set out into the world to seek power and glory with his step-brother and two other adventurers in a small town. Lunar tends to show off his magic ability, usually ending badly. Because of the murder of his parents, Lunar has an extreme hatred of gnolls. Lunar will do anything he can to get what he wants, though he will usully make things right afterwards. (IE: Stealing a sword when he couldn't afford it, than after finding enough money, paying the shop keeper back) I just need to fill any holes.
HauptSin 08-27-06, 12:52 PM	Well, on the theft thing, and being raised by a Gold Dragon... That Dragon must not have been very good at infusing morals. :p And I'd figure it wouldn't take "years" to find some elves, unless they're particularly rare in this campaign. Especially since this Dragon just happened to be in the area when your char's parents were killed, and Dragons tend to have defined turf. And I'd also think the Dragon might help out a little with his, like, flight and all...

Seraphine_Harmonium 08-27-06, 06:15 PM	How did the Gold Dragon come to be in the area? Are the lands where Lunar Shadow lived under said dragon's dominion, so-to speak? If so, why did it take so long to find elves? (it sounds like it was an elven village). Personally, I don't have a proplem with the whole theft thing, especially considering he always tries to make up for it.
