| Fanged Fremont07-07-05, 04:29 PM | We're playing 2nd edition rules with an average party level of about 3. We run into this damn sniper at regular intervals who takes pleasure in killing all of our underlings. I don't understand too much about 2nd edition rules and what not and don't have any of the books so I decided to ask you guys for help. We're dealing with a female elf archer who runs, shoots, and runs somewhere else, and being an elf, leaves no tracks. She somehow manages to shoot us through the trees which I think is bull. She also has a some kind of magic cloak that either makes her invisible or adds to her hide. How the hell do we take this beyotch down? We got a 2nd and 4th level mage, a 2nd level pally, two 4th level fighter types, a 4th level archer, a third level rogue, and a third level thri-kreen(mantis man) ranger. Also, I'm wanting to add such an annoying sniper in my 3.5 campaign, what ways would my players be able to deal with her? |

(In 3.5, you can hide after you fire ONCE in the round.. But it's a -20 penalty to your hide check.. Greater invisibility can negate that pretty much though) |
