The most HORRIBLE AND ABUSIVE thing I can think of is to combine the Mystic Theurge and the True Necromancer (TaB). Your caster level will be off the scale (although the DM will probably kill you for this, or Rule Zero it).

Necromancy specialization (if any, it's not required), Death Domain, Nongood Alignment (I'd recommend LN, especially in FR), patron deity must not be good and must not forbid the creation of undead, Vampiric Touch must be among spells known.

Levels would go something like: Wizard 3 Cleric 3 MyTh 2 TN 1 MyTH 8 and finish however you like.

Obviously put the two best scores into INT and WIS.

Oh, and clear this with your DM first. Having a caster level of well over 20 on your Necromancy/Death spells might peeve them somewhat.

In choosing the mystic theurge, know that you will be sacrificing Power for Flexibility. You will be at least one spell level lower than if you had gone straight one way or the other, but you will also have many more spells per day, and access to a wider variety of spells.

I personally suggest you put that 17 and 16 into your two primary casting stats: So Int. and Wis. if you're going Wizard/Something, and Cha. and Wis if you're going Sorc Something.) Bear in mind that the Sorcerer has to be level 4 to cast 2nd level spells, for some inexplicable reasion.

If you're going to go Wizard Cleric or Wizard/Druid, a Ring of Wizardy might be a nice choice just to give you even *more* spell slots.

Ring of wizardry always used to work for sorcerers also didn't it?
