| Blood Bath07-30-04, 03:47 AM | I am about to start a D&D campaign where I am playing a Tiefling character. I am asking for suggestions for a cool sounding name for him. He has spent most of his life with an outsider village but he has gone away from them and started to interact in the normal villages hidding his tiefling features to appear human. So saying this, a sort of infernal name would be more appropriate. Your help would be greatly appreciated. |

Yrlgorlon Dra'Nathtonian Sharglesh Fendeshor Mal'Fashallus Tren'rgreth If you want a name that is a real name but sounds a little fiendish, I would suggest Nicodemus. |
| Vaelan07-30-04, 07:39 AM | *rolls 1d20 + 1d6...*(names that start with 'A' are for peasants!) *rolls a 2 and a 1 for 3* Oh look, his name starts with a 'C'... Anyway... The outsider village probably wouldn't have great tradition in extraplanar names, as that would imply that you identify strongly with your extraplanar ancestors. What kind of village would want a Tiefling that identified strongly with their infernal heritage? A name containing infernal elements probably wouldn't be the best name to use if you're keeping a low profile. I'd go with a common name from the region the village is located in. You could make that a fake name and have your infernal name if you wish though. |

| Vaelan07-31-04, 08:58 PM | Asmodeus == peasant. |
