I'm a new player, and am looking for more details/options regarding profession and craft types/info (under skills). e.g. I'm looking for both 1. lists of ideas for possible profession and craft types to choose from, and 2. specific applications/mechanics/DCs for applying them during play. This kind of resource would be very useful both for character creation/development/background (roles) and also for practical play (rolls). Are there any D&D discussion threads, online resources, magazine articles, or books that provide such expanded lists/tables? For example, the Profession and Craft sections under "Skills" in the PH provide some useful starter info and ideas, but really don't provide much guidance/rules/mechanics. I'd love to see a much-expanded version of the Craft table on p. 71, showing many more specific craft types, applications, and DCs (and I'd love to see a similar table for a long list of professions with specific applications and DCs). Perhaps these already exist somewhere--if so, can you point me in the right direction? Any thoughts? Thanks for any guidance/advice.
