Hello Everyone!
I'm in a bit of a bind currently with my newest character. He's a LE hobgoblin Fighter / Blackguard with a fanatical, unswayable devotion to the edicts of his deity: Hextor, god of tyranny.
Now, I also gave him a character trait where he will quote Hextorian scripture in the midst of battle, especially against paladins and clerics of Heironeous. Unfortunately, I can't really think of any appropriate-sounding sayings to have him use. Do any of you wise, wonderful people have any ideas? I was thinking something along the lines of: "Law is to be forged from anarchy; the strong shall dominate the weak. This is the order of the world."

Thanks. :D

I dunno, something along the lines of:
"The weak of will are made for but one thing, and that is to serve"

Or to someone he has a past with (like a paladin he has fought once before):
"Piteous that such a one as you should waste your time on those below you- embrace your potential, and let your inferiors be just that!"
but it's late, I'm tired (I've had a totally lazy, no good week, to boot), and therefore my throughts are totally exhausted. Alas! :(

Edit: Whoops, I already screwed up- apparently you wanted scripture and not one-liners. Well, the first one would do as scripture. Definitely off to bed, now :D

"He will be obayed" is the Hextorian equivilant of "Amen."

"Do you not yearn to be free of the tyranny of the individual?" --System Shock 2

Here's some impromptu scripture for you...

"And on that day, the weak shall be crushed underfoot as the Great Lord makes His return in glory. He shall walk the lands, in one hand His sword and the other His shield, and His judgement will be wrought upon the nations of this world. Those obedient to Him in their thoughts and words will be raised on high, to become lords of the new world. Those who stand in opposition will be smote down, and their flesh shall be food for the wild dogs. The loyal will watch as the world is remade in His image."

"Hand the Fourth: the Blade of the Forgiving Edge. Do not to slay those who cower before you. Those who cower are loyal before you. Cull instead those who no longer fear you, or, to best yet, allow those who cower to slay those who do not. Thus, you may rule with both fear and devotion."

"The greatest joy we can have is to know our place. If we presume we are too strong, we become arogant and are like the grass, who grows too high and is dragged down by the weight of its own head. If we cower to our lessers, we are like the clover which quakes under grass and rabbit."

...or, to blatently steal from 40K,
"You shall be greatful for your master's punishment, for it is well deserv'd and improvith thee."

"Not all beasts require the same food.
Not all men require the same love.
But all things need security, and secure are those in Hextor's left hand; grasped tightly to keep order."
I just made that up.. :P

Thus the elves and demons brought onto the world the Six Lies. With a weapon in each hand, The Lord of All set each to strike the lies dead. Know them as they are:

1.) Ayn (Freedom) We are all tethered to something, it is these tethers which grant us strength.
2.) Vizin (Peace) Each day is a fight, against foes foreign and domestic.
3.) Ithix (Choice) The path we take is formed 'ere we walked upon it.
4.) Nur (Anarchy) The strong will always rule the weak.
5.) Pinn (Indeviduality) We are our fathers' sons. We are our mother's daughters. We are our countries' children.
and 6.) Draum (Diversity) All are of the same body and the same voice, all connected, one machine from many parts.

He shall be obayed.
