Hello again,
I am hoping someone can help me get a feel for what a Favored Soul cleric can do as I am preparing my spells for tomorrow, starting with healing. I know the class is from the Miniatures Handbook (which I don't have) and that he started there the first time we met. He is probably Third Level. I am a third level Druid. I got a lot of wonderful suggestions about healing in general in another thread (thank you all!). Without any other input, I am planning 4 cure minor wounds because1 point will keep anyone at zero from getting worse and Two Cure Light Wounds to revive the cleric if he needs it. I just thought it would be good to check if there is something unique about the Favored Soul I should know before I go ahead with this.

That seems a reasonable selection assuming that you have a bonus 1st level spell that you can fill with something like Entangle or something similar.

I would seriously suggest that if you have the day before the party sets off that you cast 2 goodbery spells as they will last 3 days.

An important thing about the favored soul is that he has a limited number of spells known, but casts them spontaneously. Your character should ask if he can heal, and if he can, just prepare a single cure light wounds.

Otherwise, looks like you're off to a good start.
