| Capn Charlie06-13-04, 12:14 AM | For each character level you have you get that class' hit die(d12 for barbarian, d10 for fighter, etc.) plus your constitution bonus. At first level you get maximum HP, but at following levels you roll the die and get stuck with whatever you roll(good or ill) from then on. Most DMS however offer the option of taking the average(6.5 for barbarian, 5.5 for fighter) with the half points adding up every other level. |
| Veton06-13-04, 12:18 AM | I just use Vampiric Touch of course :smirk: Seriously though, roll the die type for your class (It'll have what you get in the class description. Take that result and add your Constitution modifier to it, and that's how many points you added to your total for the level. At 1st level, you get max HP. |
