| Funkadelic09-11-05, 05:00 AM | Hey guys, I'm wondering exactly how do you interpret the Savage Species guide to creating a monster character using a Table as supplied in their Annex 1? I'm currently building a lvl 6 Mindflayer character and was wondering how/which table to use as reference? Reading the standard Mindflayer lvl progression is simple enough but do you go on to add the additional benefits as listed in Table 2-5 regarding level dependent benefits? IF so by lvl 6 I would have approx 5 feats and 1 abi modifier to assign. Now is that correct? OR does the table provided under the race description already factor all that in? It may seem rather crazy to be asking for more benefits of being a mindflayer but I'd feel safer clarifiying this out and if the Table 2-5 table is supposed to be used where is the official printing that states so? |
