Sephyrill 12-11-05, 09:40 PM	I need a little help with my PC's relationship with our soon-Blackguard... My young, ambitioned, intelligent (and beautiful) cleric of Asmodeus and said Fighter were formed (together with others) to a small group of Asmodeus cultists and we shall soon join a larger, hidden sect. While she thought of the group's males (a Hexblade, a Paladin of tyranny and said Fighter) as attractive, but somewhere slow and never persons of interest for her, the Fighter developed a crush on her. Fist he only tried to get her laid (an absolute no-no for my cleric for she will never adot an even only slightly slutty behaviour) but now there seems to be more. The only problems are his and her imaginations and character traits. She is born to a rich and noble house of merchants, very skilled in diplomacy, charming, behaving in society and building a profitable image of herself. Her family is her love and her loyality for them is as absolute as her loyality to Asmodeus. She likes to play roles and games with those stupid, puny humans around her (though she didn't have the opportunity since she started travelling from their original master) She can be cold, sarcastic and very direct, but still talking around the true context which confuses many. She has had some relationships in the past, but she never got intimate with them since they weren't worth it and still her attitude has not changed a bit. However, those she would have considered worthy never had an interest in her (her old master, for example) She would never do anything she doesn't fully want to and if she would go to bed with some male it would be her initiative and her seduction. for him I can only say what my character realized yet. She doesn't know his family and his home. He is honorable and trustworthy, but easy to anger if you play tricks on him (a group member did this once and he still seeks silent revenge) He promised to protect her, but trusts in her power too. He wants to be nice and romantic, but it often happens that he behaves dumb and too directly sexual. It is no secret that he wants to sleep with her and he mentions this truly often. However, even though she did not react as he wanted, he still tries desperately. She asked him once why he is interested in her and he answered that she was beautiful, nice and a trustworthy partner. She even tested him with playing a faint at night in the harbour of Luskan and he carried her home all the long way. The problems are 1) How can she find out what he really wants from her - if he just wants to get to bed, or fell for her looks or her power (she's kind of the leader of the group) or if he really seeks a longer relationship (not that she wants to get married or so, but she does not want to be an one night stand) 2) how can she teach him to behave like she wants and understand this? To be really flirting, charming and carefully trying step after step instead of talking about getting to bed all the time - and really mean it. That a relationship is not all about reaching the bed and then it is fine. maybe it's the old male-female problem, but you men cannot be all hormone animals, can you? ;) and don't think it is strange that an evil cleric thinks this way. Romance knows no alignments :)
Feor 12-12-05, 12:13 AM	Well, not sure how to make him straighten up, but being evil deffiently calls on something devious to find out his real intentions. I'm thinking find out if he frequents any particular bar/tavern. Hide there, somewhere and wait for him. Then wait until he's starting to get nice and drunk, (so he'll be less likely to notice the spell or to connect his bout of honesty with it) then cast zone of truth and let the barkeep (who you paid off earlier) start asking questions pertinent to his feelings about you. (discern lies would let you figure out if he made his will save or not) From there, if the results are favorable, maybe next time he makes a suggestion drop a hint that he might have a chance if he wasn't so vulgar about the whole situation. If the results were unfavorable, you're evil, threten that if he suggests it one more time you'll see to it that he's never capable of taking another woman to bed without the intervention of a high leve druid or a ring of regenreation. :devil:
