You have 10-15 of these that you are packing? I think that you should put some ranks in Profession (merchant) and just pretend that you are peddling them. Make sure that you get a wagon so you can at least set up shop. Really, 550-2550 pounds, you are just packing around all nonchalantly?

Pity you don't have a load of greek fire. You could just collect stuff already in town, You could use wax - burns like crazy when it is hot. Animal fat would also work well too. Bales of hay - should be plenty in the towns stables. Oil should be common in town.

tharivol266 07-16-06, 04:48 PM	get a mule and a cart and load it up with the kegs and put the oild in kegs too and lable it all ale, wine, whiskey etc and get a wide brimmed hat and a long piece of straw and one of those woll things that peasants wore alot and just ride into town saying that the nobility in the area called for booze for a party.
Juzzman 07-16-06, 07:16 PM	I reccomend you label it as something less valuable, and less dangerous. Say, pickled beets or dried apples. Booze is more likely to be checked for quality or even stolen, and you may even have to pay tax on it. Nobody remembers the last few carts of cabbages that came in, but someone may remember the cartload of booze that rolled in. Keep a few barrels of the genuine article for the curious to avoid suspicion. You will need to disguise the smell, as oil will have a strong smell, as can some types of rum. Then just roll into town on your clapped out cart, pulled by a weary old nag. Everything that says poor, worthless, broken down, will make you hide in plain site :-)
