How to keep fellow party member in Charachter [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-09-06, 03:08 PM Our DM wants us to stay in charachter but ny brother anf our cleric are so easily distracted that they couldn't stay in charachter to save their lives. The DM has threatened them with charachter death and has even tried to reward us for staying in charachter. I really need some advice.

08-09-06, 03:58 PM Yeah, our group has done that before, my advice is, find like a a special table centerpiece or something else, when its down on the table, all speech will be treated as if it was in character. If these people are jerks, then you may want to say only the DM is allowed to remove it from the table. Works wonders, but still allows you to get upi and use the bathroom without making your character seem wierd to all of the npcs.
