AC = 10 + Armor Bonus + Shield Bonus + Dex Bonus (may be capped by the type of armor you're wearing) + Dodge Bonuses (unlike other named bonuses, Dodge Bonuses stack) + Deflection Bonus

If you post your PC's ability scores, class, and gear we can tell you exactly what your AC is. I'll toss out a ferinstance here to help illustrate:

Bob the Rogue (1st level)
STR: 12
DEX: 17 (+3)
CON: 13
INT: 14
WIS: 9
CHA: 14

Gear: thief's tools, rapier, leather armor, backpack

Bob's normal AC is 16, flatfooted is 13. Here's how:

Leather armor: +3 Armor Bonus
DEX 17: +3 Dexterity Bonus

AC = 10 + Armor Bonus + Dex Bonus = 16. The rest of the formula doesn't apply, because Bob doesn't have any of those bonuses.

Whenever Bob finds himself flatfooted, he can't apply his DEX bonus to his AC. This drops his AC to 13 until he is no longer flatfooted.

I'd recommend you read the Rules of the Game article series on stacking (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/arch/rg) as well. Calculating AC can be a royal pain once you start applying various magical enhancements. The link takes you to the Rules of the Game archive. Scroll to the bottom to find Parts 1-4 on Stacking. I do this because the new site layout doesn't allow you to advance through the article series.

DrMorganes made one mistake, leather armor gives you +2, not +3.
