| catowar09-21-04, 10:03 PM | I dont know why im asking this but...Can a cat (or other animal) that had the awaken spell cast on it start to take levels in classes? I have had been thinking of this for the past month now and I think its about time I ask! like lets say a druid cast the spell on a cat to act as a spy or something and after he was done sent the cat on his way to have fun with his new fond intelligence. can that cat now level up as a fighter or something after killing enuf rats? (just think of a lv 20 cat fighter) like i sayed befor i dont know why im asking this.... |

Most critters, having 3 or higher in Intelligence, can (at the very least) take fighter, rogue, barbarian, or ranger levels. This certainly includes awakened animals. Note that the ranger's spellcasting might be problematic... |
