| Bait the Bard11-28-03, 02:06 AM | Well, go read the Players Hand Book, and then come back here. But for now: You start with Armor Class 10 (AC 10) Add you Dexterity modifier, +2 (now AC 12) Add you Armor Bonus, eg +4 for chain shirt (now AC 16) Add your sheild modifier, eg +1 for a small sheild (now AC 17) To hit an AC of, say, 14: Roll a d20 (twenty sided dice) Add your Strength modifier (eg +1 for Str 12) Add you Base Attack Bonus (BAB, say +1 for a fighter) So, to hit an AC of 14 with a +2 on your roll, you need a roll of 12.
