I stink at DnD.The Dms love Me. [Archive] - Wizards Community

just to die in 1 minute.I roll bad dice in combat.
need a calculator to handle all the math.and modifiers.
and the monster or being still has a 44 def ac.
i come from old school where books were 12 dollars the
dms guide was 15. and there was no skills feats and fluff.
you didn't have a ghost of a chance to take on Zeus.
if we did kill the dragon it was back to Inn for Wine,
Women,Stew,and Song.I'm really not depressed i am
just stuck in 1982 before you could hurt your foot with
these 30 dollar word rule books.SIMPLIFY.I am laughfing
at myself.The Dice Gods(Luck) never go my way.Too
many Dms give me the world then take it away and starts
over again.I want to be a mithral golem with the hitpoints
of Godzilla and all that Regeneration.Write the Stinky Player.

10-30-04, 07:41 PM I too was stuck in 1982 for awhile so I feel your pain. I fought the old rules and whined that the new are so complicated. You know what though? They are far better. Combat is better designed and streamlined. Feats and class skills give you something to look forward to at almost every lvl. Spells are in some cases nerfed but they needed it. The new system is not perfect but once you get used to it I bet you will see it is better. Keep trying.

You too can be assimilated. :devil:
