Then I would recommend you look at the WotC Archives for the old adventures that feature ships, they have some nice deck plans. Or look into buying Arms and Equipment Guide, that has a lot of nice ships. Finally, go to the library, get some books on ancient ships, get some grid paper, and build your own ship! The last way would be my favorite, but definately check Arms and Equipment for nice ship magic goodies. ;) Good luck, I have always like ship campaigns. Kire |

| feartheinvinceblehamster05-11-05, 04:30 PM | me? i drive a souped-up house orien airship that can create gates to any plane in existence, including mirror material planes. that should take off about 700,000 GP off your hands. :D |

Consider some sort of combination: Daern's instant fortress combined with folding boat. It would be neat! Um...there are a couple of seafaring books out, by non-standard publishers. Check your local roleplaying book store. |
| Solidcobra05-11-05, 05:03 PM | Get an airship from Eberron. 98 grand. now mod it with armor as per the rules from A&E, get a few more elementals bound to it...give it some magical weaponry like fireball cannons... :P |
| prodigyxss05-11-05, 05:10 PM | The arms and equipment guide isnt that great, so instead in my opinion I would get the Sea Farers guide from legends and lairs I think. Its better than A&E and is great for Dm and player. |
| Karanth05-11-05, 05:46 PM | I used the rules in A&E to create a ship that could travel the multiverse, haul 40000 tons of loot, and frag a terrasque in 5 rounds. It cost something like 22 million gold, but luckily, it was someone elses cash. :D |
| eudas05-11-05, 05:54 PM | there's a book called 'Ships of the Goblinoids' which has deck/ship plans as well. It could be a decent resource. eudas |
| krichaiushii05-11-05, 07:09 PM | Here are some free deckplans (http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/d20/series.php?qsSeries=2) from Mongoose - the Ships of the Goblinoids that eudas speaks of. Just scroll to the bottom of the page. If you are willing to go to pdf, then Corsair (http://www.rpgnow.com/product_info.php?products_id=3755&) might be for you. Its not free, however. |
