| zatherith01-10-07, 10:39 PM | The idea I came up with was a lvl 6 monk with sacred vow, vow of non violence, vow of peace and vow of poverty from the Exaulted Deeds Handbook.The class has a good AC with the vow feats, but is nerfed in the attack department.The party has a lvl 6 rogue, a lvl 6 wizard and a 5 cleric/1 paladin.the cleric/paladin can take care of some of the combat but I wanted to craft a class that could maintain most of it, don't need the only healer in melee all the time.Perhaps a druid with the vow feats would work better but unless I stayed in animal form all the time my attacks would still be lacking.Any suggestions on what would be a good main melee class combination at level 6 for the Expedition to Castle Ravenloft would be greatly appreciated. |
| vinny_rex01-10-07, 11:15 PM | Ive always found the 1/2 Orc Barbarian/Fighter combo to be pretty hard hitting. If you're going for straight up attack ability though, it depends on how you build your character. A Human Rouge with: Combat Expertise Improved Feint Weapon Finesse - Rapier Improved Critical - Rapier (When BAB is high enough) Can be mad deadly. |
