| NecroticBanana03-01-06, 06:44 PM | i was thinking of rollin up some kind of druid, but more savage, and more primitive, i was thinking a half orc druid that relies more on dinosaurs than yer stereotypical woodling critters. possibly even taking the feral template from savage species, but i was wondering if anyone else had any good ideas to make this character stand out a little more? doesn't have to be a druid build, could be any class but i thought having dinosaur allies would be cool. |
| Marvos03-01-06, 09:33 PM | Maybe you could make up some bizarre rituals or religious beliefs that the druid has. You can make him more like a "witch" than a druid. Or maybe you could do some research about pre-christian europe or maybe even native american or other animist religious. I'm sure there are some cool things you could find in any of those. |

And for variety you could do what Marvos suggested, as long as the theme goes with the campaign. In this case, roleplaying would make your character stand out more than stats/skills/whatever, so try focusing on that aspect mainly. |

| Draco Strang03-02-06, 01:49 AM | Just take a few levels in barbarian. That should fit the concept quite nicely. |
| NecroticBanana03-02-06, 01:29 PM | the roleplaying shouldn't be a problem, i'm fairly good in that aspect. just wasn't sure, crunch wise, what would be ideal. |
| cypherx03-02-06, 06:33 PM | sounds like you have it down! i played a half orc druid who had a cool trick. he would summon dire bears, charm them, then use the animal growth spell. gargantuan bears match most enemies firepower. |
