well i was thinking i might not like the character i made because i see this character i want as a person, who, loves to kill things, has a troubled and yet cloudy past. loves a good fight with melee weapons or 2 weapons at once, and has a great knowledge of sword fighting. is that a swashbuckler? i think hed be neautral because of his past. isnt too sure of which isd better good or evil. and his companion so far is a half elf druid. to me i like to charge and fight i am not really big on magic right now. i like armor and protective items as well. i dont want anyone to create this character i just want ideas of what race and class this might fit to. i am getting into d&d so far and i just want or need to find my niche.

Just go with a fighter or barbarian--or any variation of those classes. Sounds like you just want a basic warrior type character that beats a decent amount of ass. Fighters and barbarians best fit that. If you want to go with swashbuckler, that would probably be fine as well since its more or less just a variation of a fighter.

Oh, and as for race, you can pretty much pick whatever you want, but to get the most out of your character statistically, I'd say go with half-orc, dwarf, or human.

Yes I would go with what Whim said. What you said fits the part of a barbarian or fighter.
