| Iggy_Calcine02-21-07, 12:40 PM | Hi, I am playing the wizard in a campaign that has been on and off for a few years. We are starting off at 7th level and I was thinking of making a straight wizard (illusionist). I had looked into the Shadow Adept PRC, but it doesn't play too nice within a group setting, as any items I would creat could never be used by anyone else in the group. As far as party composition, we have a Fighter, Ranger, Cleric, Rogue, Fighter, and myself- the wizard. I am thinking I need some blow up spells, but I also took the craft wondrous item feat, so I can make a deck of illusions, and some stat boosting items. I also know the DM loves drow and things with SR, so illusions are good. I also like to think of myself as a creative player, and many times I use crowd control tactics, like creating a choke hold area where we can gang up on the monsters as they come through single file. Is there anything else or other ideas? Should I take greater spell focus illusion or the energy substutition feat? Any help would be great. Thanks. |
