| banbarian01-18-05, 09:08 PM | one thing my Dm has enjoyed has been my earnest attempts to "make do" while out adventuring. fighting some stinky monsters, i stuffed moss up my nose to avoid the constant gagging players with failed saves endured. the +1 he gave me was a good trade for the giggles he got imagining it. what other things might i look for afield? i'll roleplay it fully and have my druid diligently search for the material if you guys have some tips of other things i might try. immersing in mud to avoid a extraplanar foe? hmm, sounds farfetched :) thanks in advance. |

Take a deep breath and then turn to your party. " Boys...I ain't quite sure...but this yellow snow shouldn't hurt us if we melt it and use it for water......" |

Mystics have been fire-gazing for thousands of years to try to see the unseeable - if your wizard's 100 GP scrying mirror gets shattered, maybe see if the GM will allow the wizard to become entranced by the campfire instead, maybe with a Concentration check or some other related check to see if he can make do. |
