Hey there I seem to find myself at a cross road. I have finally obtained level 8 and am finally able to take the Pres Class I’ve been so longing for the Shadow Dancer however I find along the way my rogue seems to have picked up a number of feats skills and items which already fulfill the propose of why I wanted to become a SD, the Sneak attacks.
So a long story short what should I do? Continue with rogue. Switch to Shadow Dancer or try another pres class (preferable one with sneak attacks)

Currently Level 7 Rogue (+1 undecided character level) Human
Quick Draw, Flick of the wrist, and the two roguish feats that are required for Shadow Dancer. The DM has a rule where we can spend extra exp for buy a second feat whenever we gain a single feat. The Exp cost is quite hefty so I’m not sure I’d want to do it again unless someone has a really go idea of where my rogue can go. (One unspent feat)
Ideas?

Thanks in advance!

If you already have all the abilities you want from the Shadow Dancer clas it would seem like a waste to take levels in it. I don't have the Shadow Dancer class handy, but I think all/most of their abilities are supernatural or spell-like so an antimagic field would suppress both your magic items and any abilities from the SD class so no big advantage there. The major benifit from having the abilities as class features is that your magic items can be taken/broken/etc... while class abilities can not.

If you're happy with having the abilities granted to you by magic items rather than class features I would use your unspent feat on something like Improved Feint and continue advancing as a rogue. Maybe consider multi-classing as a fighter for the HP, BAB, FORT save, and extra feats (like dodge and mobility) as it sound's like you have a somewhat combat oriented rogue as it is.

...is Rogue. Any class you moved into would be a watering-down of that Roguey goodness. At tenth level, you start stacking up those crazy Rogue powers, and the bodies start dropping faster then ever.

If you are unsure at all about shadowdancer, stick with Rogue. You will not be disappointed.

Hide in Plain Sight is worth a one level dip. You don't get any class features from Rogue 20, anyway. The thing is that it's difficult to Hide in high levels without something like HiPS. True Seeing, Blindsight, Tremorsense, etc. start to stack things against you. HiPS is a good way to compensate for many of them.

Oh, and take Spring Attack, if possible.
