increasing charisma [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-24-08, 01:45 PM I have a character that has just turned epic I need consistant ways to increase his charisma. I have a belt of magnificence +6 and have read the tome of leadership +5 I currently have a charisma of 34(it started as 18) i want to continue to increase my charisma with other types of bonuses but do not know what other types of bonuses you can get for attributes inherent I have and enhancement i have (I do not want to start buying epic equipment, its expensive) what other bonuses are there(non class feature) (non feat) and what items can I find them on,

02-24-08, 02:17 PM If I remember correctly, there is an Epic feat called Great Charisma. +1 untyped bonus to your charisma, and it can be taken multiple times.

Edit: I did state in original post non feat.

there is but i do not want to waste the feat for a +1. I am looking more for items with (for dex bonus it would be luck enhancement) other types of bonuses circumstance, sacred or insight. mostly from items

02-24-08, 06:29 PM Find a Wizard, drop a great big pile of gold at his feet and tell him to make you an item that grants a non-enhancement bonus to Charisma.

Once you're epic the rules go out the window and you can have all kinds of funky things.

Ioun Stones are just slotless +Stat items. As such they are enhancement bonus to stat and won't stack with slotted item (same type).

02-24-08, 08:21 PM Just be a nymph or a succubus, at epic the caster level doesn't matter, a couple feats fix that.

+8 Cloak of Charisma = 640k gold
+10 Cloak of Charisma = 1 million gold
+12 Cloak of Charisma = 1,440,000 gold

Use a similar formula for making an Epic Belt of Magnificence to raise all your stats (and I would imagine would cost a lot more then having an epic cloak of charisma).

02-26-08, 10:53 AM Can you afford templates? Or do you just want items? The Saint, Half-Fey and Phrenic are all +2 LA templates giving +4 Charisma.

Then you could decide to age to Venerable and have +3 INT, WIS and CHA, but -6 to all physical scores. But with that charisma, you could just sigh to have a tyranosaurus mount do your bidding.

That leaves templates and items that cost as much as epic items, so those won't count either. You already have max inherent bonus.

So pretty much reincarnation or templates.
