Party over view

Fighter rogue assasin NE - lvl 8 me
Noble born Fighter NE - lvl 6
Cleric Fighter NG - lvl 5
Ranger CN - lvl 6

to get right down to the problem the ftr was like 9th in line for succession (of a very small rather crappy city in the mountaians but hey gotta start somewhere) so he suggested that maybe some systematic removal of a few family members might be in order to become king. so i work on this and i get it done eventually. so now were working on making him emperor. well the cleric is totally oblivious to all this and outside of the game is accussing of being murderers and all this other stuff and making waves and it is getting rather annoying. as of yet i have killed no innocents my charachter adheres to a strict code "waste not want not" he doesn't kill needlessly and he doesn't like to kill women. im not sure whether to just lay it down for the cleric in game and offer him an ultimatum or to just let him remain totally clueless

plz help me =/

First: What was your DM thinking when he allowed such a party???

Second: So, you donīt kill innocents, just relatives of yours whose only fault is to be born in your family? Yes, sure, you are no murderer. You are a saint.

Man, the cleric should outright leave the group and try to stop your sinister plans.

Advice to the fighter: Donīt let NG witnesses of your crimes alive!

Its all the DM's fault.
A DM should NEVER let the party be built like that. One thing: G and E does NOT fit together, EVER.

And then, perhaps not even N fits with E, but that depends on the lvl of N and the lvl of E (by lvl, i mean how evil the evil is... and how neutral the neutral is....)

Assasin= Stongly evil wihout doubt.
Strongly compared with N... MAY work, but rather not.

Give the cleric a hard buttkick, toss him out of the game, and give him a new character sheet. Ask the ranger if he is fine with knowing what you guys do, if not, give him the same three actions as the cleric, if yes, let him stay.

Fighter rogue assasin NE - lvl 8 me
Noble born Fighter NE - lvl 6
Cleric Fighter NG - lvl 5
Ranger CN - lvl 6 Um... This should have been obvious...

You are murderers, there's no question--it's just that you're okay with it and the cleric is (rightfully, considering his alignment) not okay with it. If everyone in the group but him enjoys being evil, tell him that it's an evil game and he needs to leave or make a new character. However, if you're playing a truly evil game it will only last until the party eventually turns on each other. An evil group that never fights in-party is unrealistic--if it becomes advantageous to have you killed, then an evil PC would do it.

Let me get this right. You are complaining that the player of the cleric is saying your characters are murders and it annoys you? That's guilt mate. Your characters are murders. They're NE though so they shouldn't care (as long as they don't get caught).

I'm not sure what you mean by the cleric player 'making waves' though. If you mean he is using his out of game knowledge in the game then that's bad and the DM should sort it out. If not he's probably just realised what everyone else has already told you - Good and Evil characters in the same party will hardly ever work out.

Suggest the DM imposes some alignment restrictions on his campaigns and you shouldn't have this kind of problem in the future.

I think all of the above misunderstood you when saying "the cleric is is totally oblivious to all this"

The cleric doesen't know! The player does, and calls them murderers OOC. Well, he's right of course. As long as he doesen't metagame abut this you should be fine. Leave him clueless and don't do anything evil that the cleric can find out about, and you should be fine.

However I agree that playing a good character in a party that's mostly evil is not a good idea. And if the player didn't know, well the DM should have warned him.
