I want to make an Iron Fist type. Lvl 12, 28 point buy in. Core books and most all 3.5 books allowed. Basically, I am looking to make an awesome unarmed fighter. I don't know much of anything about Monks, but I think this would be the best class to use for this. I am open to any suggestions or PrC's. Any help is something lol.

02-03-08, 09:29 PM I suggest moving this over to the CharOps boards.

Level 12 lets you play around a bit.
Monk is a good base, but only for a few levels, there is a prestige in Complete Warrior called Reaping Mauler.
Alternatively a fighter (with prestiges) properly made can do an excellent job too.

02-03-08, 10:46 PM I second the asking char op suggestion. Also, you might do extremely well with a monk 1/swordsage x build. Since you'll be primarily using manoeuvres, the low weapon damage of fists won't be a problem

02-04-08, 12:44 PM I'ld suggest Improved Natural Attack (Unarmed Strike), since it represents the superior striking power of the Iron Fist conditioning. I'ld also suggest Superior Unarmed Strike, if your Monk levels are being replaced by something that doesn't increase Unarmed Strike damage.
