I was just wondering what you folks thought of this feat for a Warlock and if you thought that it was overpowered at all.

Soul-Force Blast
You can bring forth the power of your soul into your eldritch blast.
Prerequisites: Cha 13, ability to invoke an eldritch blast, warlock level 3rd, Weapon Focus (ranged spell).
Benefit: When you deal damage with your eldritch blast, you may add your Charisma modifier to the total damage dealt. This bonus damage cannot exceed your character level.

It doesn't seem overpowered to me. In fact, if it was in a core book, I wouldn't even think twice about it. I'd use it if I played a Warlock, but I wouldn't consider it over-powered (unless in-game experience with this feat proved me wrong, then I'd admit it).

Not overpowered in my mind . Infact I think it is underpowered compared to some classes that get a simular bonus ( healer and war mage( might be wrong thing here) come to mind. Lose the " This damage bonus can not exceed your character level." part and I would have no problem with it.

Actually, I'll go the other way and say that the feat is more powerful than others of the same type. I'll compare it to two feats: Ranged Spell Specialization and Divine Might.

Ranged Spell Specialization adds a +2 bonus to damage with a Warlock's eldritch blast, has a caster level requirement of 4th, and can only be applied when within 30 ft. With this feat, you can add your Charisma bonus to damage, meaning you'll have anywhere from a +1 to a +13 damage bonus, and it can be applied at any distance.

Likewise, even though there are feats like Divine Might that allow you to add your Charisma modifier to weapon damage, you must spend turning attempts to activate this ability for one round. This feat would function all of the time.

In short, this feat is overpowered. The fact that it's gestalt is no excuse; just because you're combining the abilities of different classes doesn't mean that you can amplify the power of class abilities, skills, feats, et. al.
