I sometimes do it in my head and thought "A casino would throw me out for this" when I realized I could get by most swarmers with it. Most of my friends in a game we were playing were fighters and I was a wizard. I counted the AoO the goblins took on my friends and my character seeing them take the attacks would probably to able to realize if they had enough time to attack him too. So I would cast spells like burning hands right next to goblins who had used they're AoO for the round. Only once was a wrong when we fought a goblin cheif. Just wondering how everyone else felt on it. |

While he is busy whacking them for attempting to sunder or whatever, you blast him with burning hands. It makes perfect sense and is the kind of thing a wizard (I'm assuming he's intelligent) would do. |
