Alright, I'm getting ready to start two campaigns during the same week, one on Wednesday and the other on Sunday. First off, I would like to get thoughts on the rolling system:
1. Roll 4 dice, reroll 1, 2, and 3.
2. Roll 7 Stats (I use Appearance).
3. If you drop all of the same number on the first roll, your stat is 18 plus the number (ex. If you rolled all 3's, the stat would be 21).

The Starting Conditions for my Campaign are as follows:
1. 5th level; Gestalt
2. House Rule: Feats every two levels, rather than 3 (so 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, etc.)
3. 5th level gold (in both DMG and PHB2)
4. One Masterwork Weapon of Players choice, without subtracting from starting GP.
5. One Masterwork Armor of Players choice, without subtracting from starting GP.
6. At the start of gameplay, I roll in DMG for one random, minor magic item.

In one group (the Wednesday group), this is always how characters have been rolled up, but in the other (the Sunday), the first 2 have been seen before (same DM's house rule as the other), but the third one will be new. I realize that this is completely and ridiculously powerful, but I want my PC's to be tough enough to survive. I don't pull punches.
Moving on, this is also Gestalt (from "Unearthed Arcana") and so it has its own unique challenges (The group size for the sunday group is usually 9 to 10 players, minus the DM; and the wednesday group has 6 to 7 players, minus the DM.) Other than group size, what is going to be the biggest potential problem. (If this helps to answer my question, the only optimizer in either group is me, and I'm not even that bad. Also, the two groups only share two players: me and the current DM of the wednesday group).

Wow... whatever works for you, I suppose. This will create the sort of characters who can handle a great wyrm at level ten...
