nosoupforyou 03-05-04, 12:01 PM	I propose that we get a group together through e-mail or even through these boards not just to throw out ideas or do our own thing but really build a world. We could get 5 to 6 users to section the world out. One does a map, one designs all the races, one does kingdoms and political areas, one does history, and one does all the small little nitty-gritty stuff (interesting npcs, small towers, how the towns work, and campaign material.) BTW most of the areas of design will be interlinked so we need people who can work together. This will be a largescale project. Not nessecarially time-consuming but at least a few hours a week devoted to it. It could even be something we submit to wizards. I'm guessing we need about 6 - 7 people. My only problem with the suggestion is that there aren't enough active members to spread the job. By my best estimate if we must implement this, each branch should have at least 5 exclusive(as in those who will stick to their share permanently) members to handle each section. Having less than 4 members to do one specific section will limit the creativity. When we finally have sufficient numbers I would prefer to see the following sectioning: Race - Includes Physical characteristics, traits, culture and religion Geography - Inlcudes terrain, environment, resources and habitability Myths and Legends - Includes historical background, rumors, quest, NPC(monsters or other races) and treasure/reward.

The 5 exclusive members I'm talking about are something similar to moderators to keep the discussion going and in topic. For me that's not possible. I'm active on a lot of forums here so I probably lose track of the discussions in IM. The company where I work(duh!). I'm working right now and I prefer to go online here than at home(free access and doesn't use my personal time).
