Very very nice idea. We could realy use this as a myth in the world. We should think about a race who believes in it though. Perhaps humans would believe in this myth, if there even are humans in our world.

I don't know what to call it, but it's sorta cute. I'm not comfortable with the sexism in it, but other than that I'm happy.... except that the moon chasing the sun.....

well, the story itself is cute. I can say that and it still makes sense.

I like the first the best. I find sexism rather common in religions and many things. If you wanted the bible could be considered sexist but whateva.

Anyone should feel free to write whatever creation myths they want, without worrying if they conflict. There are already fairly detailed creation stories of the Viriks and the Orcs (the orc one is in the gods and deities thread). None of the myths are technically historical, but they have their own reality in the outer planes.

The "Toyroom" myth is probably not told by the elves, since presumably most of them all ascended to the sky (?Yes??). So it must be used by some other culture, explaining about where the elves went off to. And, not a savage culture like the Virix, but one that has a childhoods and toys that can break, and rooms ;) . So, maybe humans, maybe gnomes or something kender-like.
