Hey frodus, I think you might be lost.

The link in my sig ... actually I think your looking for something other than the champaign workshop :ahem: one moment... Races forum (http://boards1.wizards.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&f=18) maybe.. http://boards1.wizards.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=-1&f=453]FR races? Maybe you would simply be best off with Good ole D&D general (http://boards1.wizards.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=-1&f=42)!

Ummm, but since you brought up dwars... anyone wanna field the suggestion to just not have dwarves at all? The fact that I am playing oblivion right now has nothing to do with this post :P I've wanted to kick out the dwarves for a while.

Well, for one Dwarves seem to be heavily tied to their element, so it all depends on whether or not we can manipulate the Dwarven affinity to make it applicable for all elements, and whether such a change in the Dwarven character will harm the archetype of the Dwarf. Also, Dwarves represent a buffer against the 'petty gods' as they are doubtful and suspicious.

Oblivion ispired,

They were killed - by the gods! "Outsider" dwarves are 'kay but there are none here anymore. Ruins only. They were the "first" natural race - being "prime material" and not red, black, or blue. Red being their strong element naturally... "quoth the cards"

Obligatory,

The dwarves are the pure outsider elemental variant, they do exist but not "on this world" making them complete monster/epic creatures.

Favorite,

There are none. Thats it. Strict WCP decks would not have dwarves, and maybe to make a joke of it we could come up with a "silly stories about dwarves" kinda phenomena they are the boogy men, they really don't exist.

New,

They have never been very common. Some say they were the first non-aligned race, some say they are a degenerate form of man. None have heard their name in the mirecene empire, but they have lived in the shadow of the demortali's empire for centuries..
