Hey, I have trouble navigating the old WCP board [Archive] - Wizards Community

I just wanted to see if anyone else was having trouble navigating on the old UBB world creation project board. When I tried to access it just after the switch-over, I only saw four archived threads (underdark, dragons, shadow magic, and gods).

Iyala's link in her thread at the top of the page works fine, (it leads to the complete board with lots of threads) but navigation on the thread still doesn't work. Any time you use the links at the top of the page to get out of a thread and on to the WCP board, it leads back to that 4-thread page, not the full board. You have to navigate by the Back button.

Okay, this is really a minor problem, but it is annoying, especially since there is so much there we new people need to look at.

P.S. This is the main reason, besides the fact that this board went so long without a post, that I thought we might be starting over from scratch. Now that know that's not the case, I look forward to digging around in the archives to see what's up.

I think this glitch has to do with the fact that the old boards have moved over to being http://archivedboards.wizards.com/ rather than simply http://boards.wizards.com/ so if you have a problem with a thread, try sticking "archived" in the link :) I haven't had any trouble with them myself but I've not poked aroud very much :)

Keep in mind that a lot of those threads froze before the old boards did.:(

...and that this thread is over a month old and people have had problems linking to the old boards on the old link after the URL transfered over. I think I've fixed the link on the top of the forum since then so no one should have any trouble :)

FYI, I figured out that the problem was that the default was set to show only posts in the last 10 days. Reset that setting (using the pull-down at the top of the page) and you can see the rest of the threads.

Now, let this thread die...
