Just thought I would drop this in here, it is a wiki for a game world, one that needs a bit more man-power to get into a useable phase.

It is still (at the time of this post) very young, the wiki is not yet a day old.

Anyone is welcome to come and give ideas as to the content of the game world.

Is to contain a realm! While it will not have maps of every peice of terrain in the realm, it should have guiding rules to encompass it all, a basic Cosmology and Physical Manifestation is up, and work is commencing on the first region of the game world.

Worth having a look at, and shouldn't take long to read the small amount that has been posted so far.

I see. Anyone think the WCP would benefit from having its own wiki? Maybe it'll encourage people, maybe not, any ideas?

LiquidAcid: I'll take a look at your wiki and get back to ya.

Wiki is prolly one of the best ideas in game world cretion imo.

The idea of having links that can just take you to the info you need is probably the best format for a game world, easily referenced, etc...

I have put up a new forum to go with Ishanda, the old one was from my PC games mod site.

The other advantage to having a wiki is that you can absolutly go to town with the amount of information stored on it, I have been delving into plants and subteranean fungus (Belbala Vruonis (http://ishanda.pbwiki.com/Belbala%20Vuronis)), and seting up ecological food chains in the process (Lotien Bugs (http://ishanda.pbwiki.com/Lotien%20Bug)), that produce a kind of silk, etc...

So you can see the advantages to having a team working on this medium, and with the ability to upload concept art, which might even include maps of regions, the wiki is prolly the way to go.

My vote is - Get yourself a wiki, they are the Gods gift to the creative spirit!

On another note - I now know this post was - yet again by me - posted in the wrongest of places, so I'll take this moment to apoligize, and ask of you since you are probably going to be more active in the community thn I am, of a place where I could post this, where it would generate interest. I would be greatly appreciative, and I have no problems with a moderator delelting this thread.

Again - sorry, I was just desperate to get a team together, and I am finding as the years go by, it is getting harder and harder for me to get people to help me on my projects

Ah, no problem. Good luck on Ishanda.

Anyways, to swing this thread back to the WCP, anyone know of how and where we could host a WCP wiki?

yep, wiki would be nice, for these kind of projects - wiki is actually easier than forums - wich are next easiest.

We have a web space ala shadow don't we.. hmm, wonder if that could be switched to wiki.. hmm. I would hate to have one of them there "leaving wotc" things on the project wiki.

Well, can you get in contact with shadow and see if it could be done (have a wiki)?
