How about layered world - like in Septerra Core game - you have a core and several shells around it, each shell may have diffirent weather/magic etc. how does thet sound? And how about world where most major powers we know as deiteis or uber-beings(like Orcus or Nerull for instance) are just at the beginning of their way - etc. ordinary not powerful mortals, or lower extraplanar beings?

It's actually an amazing idea, there chap but what you are missing is a story, you need a story for this world to be like that, a story about its creation, you need to give this world a culture, how about this: D&D ditties decided to
re arrange the world so they wouldn't have to deal with mortals messing with the, , like if they just put the worst of all on the lower level so they wouldn't have to deal with it, like, letting normal humans live their own pathetic and boring lives without knowing what's really out there, and the story and game are focused on the supirior shells, then it would be a great game, but where is the D&D and Magic Fusion?

Phhhhlbt on Elhona and Kord!

Lets talk "New Gods"

LAR/ETR (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=54532) - Not Greyhawk. So far there is no call to bring the GreyHawk Gods to this our Unnamed World!!

Oh, and Sith - I really like the septerra core Idea - there have been some similar ideas as far as having an outer layer with normal geography, an inner world (ala journey to the center of the earth ), and a "heavens" layer like a rainbow ring in the sky where the "petty gods" (ala greeco-roman myths) look down on their pathetic followers.
