| Prosperohawk06-21-05, 03:36 PM | Anyone know of any inexpensive mapping software I could use to draw up overland or indoor maps for my campaigns? I'd be much appreciative of any help people would be wiling to offer as I'm in need of some maps but can't draw to save my life. Thanks in advance. |

I have a few maps created using AutoREALM for my homebrew campaign here: Mellajorn (http://www.geocities.com/brknlf/Mellajorn.html) . There are maps in the Maps sections as well as a few in the steps portions (they are easy to spot in the text, all the links are flurescent green). All these are jpgs of the same map at different zoom levels and with various layers turned on/off. |

| elvendorf06-27-05, 03:09 PM | why are we making up worlds again? |
| Prosperohawk06-28-05, 01:31 AM | 1) Not making up a world. I need to make maps for my current campaign world, which is Eberron. 2) If it weren't for people making up worlds we wouldn't have all of the worlds of D&D to play in. Not to mention things like Middle Earth and all of the stories it spawned. 3) Since when are D&D players discouraged from making up their own worlds? |
