This item could not normally be sold, but if someone was willing to buy it, another willing to sell it, then a price could be determined. The collection plate of doom adds + 5 to attack roll. (+4 from magic, + 1 for being a masterwork collection plate) The collection plate of doom is a masterwork small projectile weapon. When it hits someone, it deals 1D6 subdual damage, and on a critical hit (18-20) , the damage is not subdual. On a hit, the thrower may make a ranged touch attack roll versus the victim's will save, or the victim instantly dies as his insides and all his possessions are turned to cp and put onto the collection plate, which carries money like a bag of holding and can hold up to 5000 coins, of any nature, as long as they're roughly the size of a gp or smaller. a tiny creature is turned into 20 cp, small: 40, medium: 80, large: 160, huge: 320, gargantuan : 640, and collosal : 1000. The collection plate of doom is usually found within churches and can only be wielded by the creator or anyone the creator of it designates. If the creator dies, the plate and the money inside it are instantly turned to dust. The wielder can use the special ability of the collection plate of doom to turn creatures to coins twice per minute. Against an item, the collection plate of doom does damage, except if the item has a wielder, the wielder makes the saving throw and suffers the effects instead. The collection plate is constantly trying to get back to it's wielder, and can never damage the wielder or the creator, nor use it's special ability on them. The collection plate of doom is an exotic weapon, and thus additionally cannot be wielded without profiency in exotic weapons or religious items. However, anyone with knowledge (religion) ranks of 10 or more can wield the plate proficiently without taking a proficiency If the wielder has a deity who is not true neutral, then the wielder of the plate gets a + 4 to the touch attack to anyone of the other side of the alignment (for instance, pelor's worshippers would get + 4 against chaotic creatures, and evil creatures) the effect is not cumulative for someone of opposite alignment , and -4 to someone who has part of their alignment the same as the wielder, the effect is not cumulative. |
