kedi 11-24-03, 04:56 AM	**Please Don’t post here right now!!** Chapter One; Defying Magic and Spellcasting Magic Magic is the general term of the force/abilities can be used to create extraordinary or supernatural effets. Magic has five different colors, :r:, :b:, :u:, :w:, :g: and each color has different spellcaster. The magic is divided to four when talking about general spellcasting; Enchantment, Instant, Sorcery and Conjuration. Schools Enchantments Enchantments are special spells which effects either one target or many targets, and even enchantments (for x-ample, Feedback). Enchant Creatures are called blessings/curses and others are generally called enchantments. Enchantments are always can be dispeled even the spell is cast. Succesfully cast enchantments are called permanents. x-ample spells: Regeneration Blood Moon Intruder Alarm Warped Devotion Rolling Stones Instant and Sorcery Instants and sorceries are generally same, their only difference is their casting time. While you can cast instants any time, sorceries are longer to cast. Instants usually effect targets for a short time while sorceries effect permanently. Sorceries can’t be dispelled if they weren’t countered. x-ample spells: Conjuration Conjuration is the general name of summoning spells. These spells can be used to conjure any living being. Conjurated creatures are called permanents. x-ample spells: ::pending and don’t post here!!::

This is really a personal request from one amazingly full of themselves member to another ;) The_One_True_Shea and the Mighty Kedi have had a couple of interesting conversations. Its amazing to me that Kedi even started a thread here .. at all! I don't remember seeing this thread before today. Perhaps the unforgiving bastard will find the invitation more palatable than Galen did. Perhaps.

Thread necromancy is a foul, dreaded EVIL art I tell you - especially when it's a two year old thread. EEEEEEVILLLL I tell you.

Book5 05-18-06, 04:08 AM	There is a saying that someone created. Perhaps that someone's name was shea... "Order is chaos and so are you" The simple fact of the matter is that Kedi is not an idiot. TotS (as he likes to be called on other forums) is simply attempting to curry a talented, intelligent, ..verbose, and opinionated fellow to the project... more importantly someone that has shown interest in the project and was then probably disheartened by the squables. Furthermore - Goblin_Flectomancer - there is a certain necessity on this board to dabble in "necromancy" - you see some of the best threads have not gotten allot of comments. This is due to the nature of the beast. This is not a high traffic forum (at least not in comment volume - there is however usually someone viewing it...) and it is also a sort of storyteller game where everyone's ideas count. For example: The elemental elves thread... the underdark thread... the jerelik thread... more besides - these threads had long since fallen behind the "2 week default view line" .... hey your actually the person to ask this! hehehe - Can the default php view setting for WCP be set to "beggining?" - again - due to the nature of the beast. Futhermore again - There is an intent (aka plot) to keep all the "valuable" threads .. above .. the random misposts. Insomuch as we (wcp regulars) should all take the time to delve past the default view time to find thread's that deserve comment and then just bump em. In this particular threads case we have an example of someone who "got it" right off (rare), but then left for some reason.. Shea is simply offering him an opportunity to return - and add his :twocents: to the summary. Diplomacy - plus a charm spell - ...... not "necromancy"
