Rup4 06-02-04, 05:42 AM	this race has all sorts of races, there mercenarys, and they cost things 2 use them, like gold or resorses. they range from the small fast gobbies to the huge club wealding giants. just an idea.
Agent Graves 06-03-04, 08:07 PM	probably not classes as a race, its a good idea though. i think it would be more like a region or city. One where 'law' doesnt really exist. maybe one where the age-old, racial enemies disregard their hatred and hire their services out. It could be a very rich city, because of all the gold that comes in from the mercenaries. I can see a minotaur and human theif nodding in respect as they pass each other in the street. I think the lure of gold is a driving point for this city, even overcoming racial hatred.

Agent Graves 06-27-04, 07:23 PM	though, i think the overlord would only be in power because he/she is the fairest 'judge' of them all. Because if there was any room for the overlord or overlady to be prejudice against a race the city would erupt into chaos. And the City would implode. Certainly there would need to be somone or a group of people to 'rule' but i think that they would have to be un bias (which is very very hard to do) just because its hard to see a goblin and dwarf working together. Maybe once inside the gates all greviences are put aside, but if your outside the gates all bets are off.
Tarkage, Doopleganger 06-29-04, 07:10 PM	Yes but this class would have to have some sort of outside party to judge all. Every race has their own racial enemy so no one would be suited to rule over all. There would have to be a lone race with no enemies and no history. This lone race would have either one being with a way of being kept alive (In other words a god?) Otherwise there would be two beings constantly kept in line to not visit the outside world. These two would reproduce and a child would also have to be constantly spied on so they would not be able to make any enimies in the outside world.

Rup4 08-02-04, 03:49 AM	yes! or heres a thought, what about a leader who cannot be seen? (to pure, to holy, to powerful?) and thus mening there is no race (thats knoun) thet rules over all of them, and this leader uses man-sevents, elf-sevants, orc-servants etc. to do his bidding and pass on messages to the whole city.
Tarkage, Doopleganger 08-06-04, 09:21 PM	That's a perfect idea. How about this? It's some kind of ghost-like entity with no physical form. He could have been once a controller of some great city then it was destroyed along with him. His spirit was so atached to the place he could not let go and now he is remaking his city. He is just a voice. He can't be seen and no one knows what race he is since all records from his old city were destroyed with it's raizing.
