My new race, Xelar, are a sort of half-bird humanoid, with features that greatly resemble an eagle, they live in cities suspended on clouds, and are god-blessed. Most are very religous and their alingment is easy to tell. the feather color lighens and darkens on thier alingment. Good/white Evil/Black, and the evil are shuned and banned from the clouds and forced to live on the surface, they are banned the classes; Thief, ranger, and druid. They can fly as if they had a cloak of flying and get a +1 Dexterity bonus. They hate Dwarves, orcs, ogres, goblins and giants. What do you think? I need some restrictions too. |

Or were you really looking for something more this way (http://boards1.wizards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=18) Off the top of my head I would say - reduce their land speed to something like 10ft you dont need to say they can fly like they have wings of flying - you can just say they have a fly speed of 60. Banned classes are not very 3.0+ and racial enemies - umm, maybe give them a +1 to AC or attacks to represent like dwarves and goblinoids. How about racial +4 to spot .. "eagle eyes" ?? |
