| NbMTCPlayer11-15-07, 07:46 AM | this is the world of tariur which i based my novels (( just theology of creation)) This is just the theology as for ragions and so forth i'll do that if this receives positive reveiws and people htink this might be a good world for this particualr sort of project. *Please critque it* In the beginning their was nothing and from nothing the gods made the world, and looked upon what they had made, and agreed that it was good. Then they called forth the critters from the earth , the fowl to fly forth from air, and the spawn to rise from the sea and the dragons came from the heart of their god Kyrlean. Then the gods called forth their races and populated the boundless continent with their children. Humans, elves, orcs, and goblins flooded the large land mass as with the other races. However as the races began to populate the massive continent at the will of their gods a mistake occurred. From this mistake came forth a new race of gods who quickly allowed their own race to inhabit the earth, the race of Gorgoroths. The Gorgoroth troll like and foul soon joined forces with the orcs, trolls, and goblinoid races, forming the unity of the Thriband. Peace reigned over this new world the gods called Tariur. But in time the children of the thriband gods brought forth war and this war waged as war usually does. Thus beginning what had become to be known as the “ War of the Gods” From his seat within the grove where the gods had gathered in the beginning of time and brought forth the creatures of the world, Alteron wept. He wept in the realization that if he and the other gods remained on the earth their might and anger would destroy all of Tariur and their races they loved so much. So Alteron, god of no race, he who dwells apart called a meeting of the gods so as to end this evil war. So they came the gods of good, neutrality and evil all came, each race gathered around their weeping brother. Mortal enemies, blood enemies, gods who on any other occasion would have attempted to slaughter each other stood now before their weeping brother whose will forced compliance and kept them all in check. The gods of the thriband races feared greatly for their lives having it been their races that had started the war, but out of respect for their older brother Alteron they came anyways as well as the force of his will. Alteron easily overpowered the other gods being second oldest god only to Kyrlean and his dragons. Rising now to stand tall the weary god faced his countless brothers and sisters. His long silver hair and beard moving by an unfelt wind, Alteron opened his mouth to speak. “Brothers, sisters we must leave this world for the might of our war shalt kill all of those here lest we flee.” With this declaration an open murmur rose amongst the group as the gods absorbed this new information. Then from the ranks, Juliard, the centurian neutral god of the forest made his way out of the crowd and began to speak to his eldest brother. “O, wisest of us all, dearest Alteron. How shalt we protect the races from destroying each other in are absence.” He said his voice thick with respect for Alteron. Alteron smiled softly, his long blue robe stained by tears and eyes sore with exhaustion. “Simple brother mine,” He said raising his elderly yet oddly powerful hand to the full moon which had risen to its peak casting them all in a creamy white and allowing them to glow much like marble. “COME!” Alteron said and although the command bore the full force of the god’s will he spoke it with no more then a whisper that everyone could hear in the silent grove. So, at the force of his will and the power of his word the moon bowed to the might of its superior and from the moon fell great blocks of stone. Each one, large as a man and as thick as a young oak tree fell down to the ground with a massive thudding ring. “Now brothers of mine gather in your races and take your stones for this shalt be your legacy aside the clerics.” Alteron said and waited as the gods moved. Soon they had gathered the gods of the major races even the drow had a unique block. But then Juliard noticing one rock was left out stepped forward yet again. “Brother mine to whom is this stone for ?” He asked quietly his voice soft and filled with wonder at the power of Alteron. Alteron smiled weakly at his curious young brother. “ We shalt use this stone to make a Krystal of power and as the other races it shall be left behind in our departure.” He moved over to the lone stone and soon the other neutral gods follow him, even Juliard. Once gathered, Juliard again, face pained with curiosity raised his voice in inquiry. “ But to whom shalt we, whom dwell apart with no signified race or alignment send our Krystal of power to?” He took his place beside Alteron. Alteron looked fondly at his young brother. “ We shalt send our Krystal down onto the earth for the earth!” He said, his voiced toned by eternal patience. Then raising his hand again Alteron gathered his will. Murmuring an unknown word a hammer appeared in his hand. Beautiful and stunningly designed the hammer shone in the moon light casting a holy aura. The other gods followed the lead of Alteron and they all began to gather their will. Then with a single word they all threw their will at their respective stones. Thus the Krystals where forged when the gods called out “BE!” Then they were gone, the gods had left the earth leaving the gems to whom they had deemed worthy of its power. The human gods crafted the Whispering Whitestone, which had the power to control the air and was made of the rarest gem in all the realms, Moradin and the other gods of the dwarven race forged the Earthly Emerald and granted it mastery over earth and stone. The elven gods in their infinite wisdom crafted the Pearl’s of the Wise and engraved them on an ankh of perfect craftsmanship allowing the user to gain psionic abilities, and the dark elf goddess Llolth forged the Shinning Amethyst which she poured into the gem the power to control sound and speed. The gods of the thriband races united under one stone and forged the Raging Ruby giving the power to control and generate flames. The gnomes and halfling gods united together and forged the Topaz of Time and filled it with sands to control the passing of time itself. The gods of the sea bound races too united as the thriband had and forge the Turquoise of Seas with mastery of the waters. Then Alteron and neutral gods whom dwell apart forged a gem that could only be called a Krystal, they blessed this “Holy Krystal” with divine powers and mastery over the light. As the gods fled the world to prevent the destruction of those they loved their spiritual pressure and wills were released from the earth. The world shuddered, shook, sighed , then in a clash that lasted for decades the once great and single continent split . XXXXXXX Pain struck Nalbotio on his throne as the power of the Krystal’s creation shook him, tearing his flesh against the bounds Alteron and the other elder gods had placed on him. His white flesh, scarred black, trembled and wormed violently at the pain wreaking his spiritual body. Slowly he raised his head recovering from his pain and called out to his minions in a roar so vile and evil that the gods shuddered when the waves echoed across the lower planes. They gathered around him quickly, demons and spawn followed by the demon gods and lords. Then his own sons Diablo and Baal gathered and prostrated themselves before his throne. Looking across them Nalbotio sneered at how pathetic they all looked. “My children the time hath come for us to rebuke the gods above us and those who hath made the Krystals of power.” He said beginning to gather his will. He felt them slowly gathering their will, puny in comparison to his own. But he knew he’d need them to compete with that of the elder gods. Then their minds began to blend and they became one entity, for a single moment Nalbotio contemplated killing them all, for when their minds where put together he held their lives in his clawed hands. Nalbotio however fought his natural urges and continued on. Nalbotio prepared his body for the pain to follow, as he began to move one of his clawed hands to his chest. Blood rained down, black and vile as he tore a strip of flesh with equivalent in dimensions to that of the stones the gods had used to forge the Krystals. The king of the hells began to focus all of his power on the strip of flesh, as well as the power of the underlings before him. Then bellowing a single word in the common tongue he made his own Krystal to be. Then as exhaustion sweeped the ranks, and death took of few of the weaker underlings, Nalbotio continued to mutter the word. Looking down at the diamond as dark as night he said the word one last time before falling into his haunted slumber. “Be.” |
