I wrote a a story a year or two ago with a slave race of dragons, subjugated by humans(and elves, dwarves... you get the picture). An large, ancient dragon wakes up and rallies them to his side against the nations in a bid to conquer the world... These dragons are much like horses- they are used mainly for transportation. Their language and culture have been eroded over the ages by millennia of slavery. They are small compared to real dragons- comparable to pteranodons, you know, the flying dinos in Jurassic Park III. They have wings and hind legs, but they have lost their front legs and most of the abilities dragons take for granted- magic breath, the arcane arts, etc... Just wanted to donate them. The draft for my epic tale disappeared years ago, but I remember much of it. I didn't really develop them much in the tale, so I'm putting them here before they disappear from my mind. Feel free to improvise. |
