In the begining, when the Nameless Earth was created, there was but one singular continent surrounded in the north and the south, with great land-locked seas, lakes, and rivers.

At this time, the world was good.

Then, the Kaiser's 'first breaking' shattered the world, and the riz-ira was created. The Second Breaking occured, and split the world into two continents. The Rizwell continent to the north, and the iradro continent to the south.

The cult of the "one power" believes there are no true gods, and that gods are merely more powerful beings. They believe there is only 'one power' and that this 'one power' was broken in much the same way as the continent was, and that the 'one power' now manifests itself as the Rizwell and Iradro.

then which continent is the western continent? I'd say east-west 'polarization' works just as well in this model. Also, for the 'no gods, one power' idea, I refer you to the "Gentile Brood" Thread I posted a while ago, perhaps to complement your thoughts?

Ah, yes, I remember reading that somewhere... So rather than nor-sou, it'd be east-west.

"Cult of the one true power? :shifty: I like it!

Yeah, actually that makes allot of sense. With the way that there is a distinct "before" and "after" the breaking there would most certainly be those who see the riz-ira as a holy phenomena...

And if the continents broke as a part of that!! Wow, yeah. Who wouldnt see the influence of the divine. I imagine these guys would be pretty anti-gods. In that they probably see the "gods" as having contributed to the breaking of the one power into the two poles.

The east and west pole? Does the equater run from north to south? or are the magnetic poles different from the riz-ira poles?

Well, let's look at the possibilities:

Saying that the equator is running north south, and the continents broke along the equator, one being the Rizwell Continent and the other being the Iradro Continent certainly works.

BUT! This might make more sense...

The continents broke into a North and South continent... because the Rizwell and Iradro litterally SPLIT the continent in half along the fissure between them.

So we'd have two 'rings' of landmass, one north one south? Then which one would correspond with the previous mentions of geography? Would we have to revise the previously assumed earthly geographical ideas?

Hmm, would the Nameless Earth be unpolarized before the first breaking? Polarized on basis of different qualities? Do the magnetic poles exist, now or anytime?

Ah, not so. Simply because the continent split, this does not mean that the Nameless World is not mostly water.

Rather than having three major landmasses (like earth) this world would have two major landmasses.

The magnetic poles, from my understanding, *were* located at the current sights of the Riz-Ira.

So we had a north and a south. Then the riz-ira exploded.. and the north and south continents shattered? OR we could say there was one continent - pangea esqu.

One big massive continent that split into two larger landmasses when the poles erupted.

How does the hollow world concpet fit into the poles concept? I mean magnetic poles are generally considered to be a epiphenomena of the metalic cores to the planet....

SO maybe there weren't north and south poles before! That would certainly make navigation more difficult. No compasses - not that magnets dont work or anything, but there are no magnetic poles - compasses don't point north! There is no "north!"
