I just tought that undead would make great workers. My boss just send some guy, who for hours explained that 'salary is not the most important';)))) :lop:
I think, that undead would be perfect employess. They don't need money, food and other such stuff. And all this for 24 hours per day. They just aren't too much smart and too much love fresh blood;) But for some kind of plantations, ruled by evil barons - necromancers, they would be perfect.
p.s.
This would fit for very dark world  :raincloud

The necromancers would eventually become unable to control the zombies and would be eaten alive.

:invasion: I can see it now, throngs of skeletal workers poring over a contruction site.
Though I think you would have to pay the necromancers big money.
And lets not forget the labor union rep bribe.

I use skeleton and ghoul workers all the time.

Skeletons are easy to make and easy to control, but you have to stay with them when you have complexes assignments for them.

Ghouls might be a little harder to control, and they have a nasty crazing for flesh, but they can work pretty complicated tasks all by themselves.

So far I've had them build my house, and it's large basement/laboratory, a small boat, and a tunnel network that leads under a local graveyard.
