Hello everyone.

I am not around much in the forums, but I've been around.

There is a lot going on these days in the D&D worlds.

I would like to make a point of letting you know about the topics that the WFR Guild (http://elftown.com/_wfr) has been discussing lately.

First off, we've introduced the idea of 'Open Gaming Areas' on our Guild-sponsored wikipages, and are renovating all pages to allow this form of play-by-post method in the comments section of these denoted pages.

Secondly, my own private company concept, xidoraven studios I (http://xidoraven.googlepages.com/xidoravenstudios) and II (http://elftown.com/_xidoraven%20studios), is hoping to publish materials related to the WFR Guild realms, based on the d20 mechanics and OGL content released by Wizards.com.

Now I hear that this will include paying Wizards $5,000 to begin publishing these materials prior to 2009. (Wizards.com 4e forums (http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=976859))

Because of this, I am seeking talented and involved people from all over the world to help populate the Guild's open-web membership, and for potential investors and/or campaign setting moderators. I am also looking for investment funds to begin working on this very deal. If Wizards wants money, then they will get it, but they will also have to realize that I am not going to lie down and give up my dreams for their OGL permissions.

Please also see my diary post about my views on this very topic:

Thanks, and best wishes,
