Are regents demi-gods

Nov 04, 2008 5:51:30 Not quite demi-gods, and most really have only a small measure of divine blood. True-blooded people are almost demigods, though -- the Serpent, the Gorgon, the Elf, the Magian and maybe the Imperia Chamberlain, Caliedhe Dosiere (if he really is the same as Traederic Dosiere) are as near as you can get to a demigod, without being one.

Not at all. Their more Perseus than Heracles, following a classic analogy their "heroes". Not in the good versus evil sense but rather that special subset of man that does more, achieves more, just is more than their fellow men.

I do think that more than any other setting however BR has a good excuse for (not so) mere mortals to rise to Godhood. Agathokles gives some good starting examples.

Not demi-god in game terms, but they play off from the old phrase, "Divine Right of Kings."

Not at all. Their more Perseus than Heracles, following a classic analogy their "heroes". Not in the good versus evil sense but rather that special subset of man that does more, achieves more, just is more than their fellow men.

I do think that more than any other setting however BR has a good excuse for (not so) mere mortals to rise to Godhood. Agathokles gives some good starting examples.
