we've played a vosgaard campaign before the book was out and played an anuirian - medoere campaign but that didn't last very long...
it's good to see people who are still playing... i would like to play once more for getting the feel back.. :-)

There's a few groups still playing that I know of. A fair amount of pbem groups, since the domain play lends itself to longer, more thoughtful actions.
I'm in a face to face group that plays every week or so, we've been adventuring in the birthright world for about 3 years now, although I've been a fan for over a decade.
I think we should do something like a petition to let WOTC know that the players wants to see this product brought back with a new twist. I want to see a forth edition version of this, a board game, and a few pc games.
WOTC has never done much after the 2nd ed, but there are a tons of BR fans that want to see it in the lime light. I have played for 37 years and love D&D and have not mind them WOWing up my 4th ed D&D.
It is funny the die hard fans that have played for years are the ones that buy their books and forth was good until they went essentials on it, opps I mean 4.5. They are so focused on a new fan base that they are forgetting the old geeks who spend hard earned money on their books. Now if they made a 4th ed Birthright I would forgive them for overlooking the old time gamer in the hopes of sucking in the wow players.
Come on WOTC and listen the fans and remake this.
I'm sad WotC won't be doing a 4E version of BR - I think it could do a magnificent job - but a BR for D&DNext could be just the thing that brings me to use it.
