a question about D&D Encounters

i wouldn't mind hosting it on a Sunday or Monday myself at our FLGS since i have those nights off, but Wednesdays has traditionally been GMed by another guy for the past what... 3 years now? it's his only real night off to hang out and GM his game. he can and has made a rare showings other days, but he's hardly a regular those games.

would it be possible for me to run the game on Sun or Mon and report it on Wednesday?
